I'm terribly in love with the thespianism of Jacob Tremblay & Brie Lawson.
First heard of the movie from the list of Oscar nominees, can't express how fascinated I felt towards the trailer itself. Weeks later I got the chance to watch it, and it was a breathtaking experience. What captured my benighted eyes are the emotionless look Jack had on most of the time, the sorrow regretness & hatred hidden behind the face of Ma.
In my opinion it wasn't much about the story to concentrate on, but the thoughts jumping inside each & everyone's heads. That's what that brings in the beauty of this film.
Keep it up, Jacob & Brie!
