When You Resign.

Kids nowadays simply take opportunities for granted, let's not hide the fact that I was one of them few years ago. They either think that they deserved it, or it's a chance blessed upon them without a choice. And so, they do whatever they wish with this given shot without even contemplating about the outcome of their actions, not noticing it affects more than one party.

Before I head on with this post, I'd like to state that no fingers are being pointed.

You know those clubs & societies you have in school, where new board of directors are elected every year in order for the 'old' ones to step down? Well, shit happens every year. People argue about how bad they want positions, some try to avoid getting them. Those kind of drama happens before the election, what about after? Post-less people weep while the ones with titles try their best to stay humble (half of them usually fail). Nonetheless, a few people will choose to resign, and that's the topic we're targeting today.

Resignation - an act of retiring or giving up a position. It is one of the most ideal choices humans nowadays pick in order to achieve a certain desire. To get rid of responsibilities? To leave behind the pressure? I don't really care. Of course, I'm cool with whatever choice you pick as long as you don't hurt & kill somebody, but have you ever try sitting down to think about what a resignation would cause? Without looking into the mirror, you are actually throwing a bucket of pain onto the ones who elected you. They have to go through another election meeting to replace the position, having to jot down all justifications of every possible candidate. Oh and here's a reminder, those people already stepped down long time ago.

Obviously, I was inspired to write this because it's relatable, both then & now.

The irony of writing this though. You'll get what I mean.
